The Down Syndrome Office and Resource Center is dedicated to advancing the well-being, rights, and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome by providing resources, fostering collaboration, and advocating for equitable access to education, healthcare, housing, and meaningful employment.   

Gonzales Trust Grants

The Gonzales Trust, administered by The Arc of New Mexico, provides grants to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and organizations that support them. Grant funding may be used for a variety of approved expenses, including:

  • Housing-related costs
  • Education and training
  • Transportation
  • Personal supports
  • Other quality-of-life expenses aligned with trust guidelines
  • Funding for innovative programs that benefit New Mexicans with Down syndrome on a broader scale.
